The Assemblist
Rachel's initial work began with launching Brandy Assembly’s blog, The Assemblist. The goal was to create a destination that showcased Brand Assembly's extensive designer community and the happenings at the company's co-working spaces, trade shows, and events. The content also elevated Brand Assembly's co-founders, team, and industry collaborators. Rachel led the monthly content strategy, wrote the stories, and produced each story's correlating visual assets (photography and illustration). Additional samples are available upon request.
Community Events
Throughout her engagement with Brand Assembly, Rachel conceptualized and produced select panels highlighting the company's services and seasonal offerings. She also wrote and produced recap stories.
Happy Place ︎ 2019
In celebration of Brand Assembly's first pop-up at SHOWFIELDS, Rachel worked with the team to produce their “Happy Place” panel, which focused on interior design's vital role in our (creative work) spaces. She curated the panelists—artist Marleigh Culver, Lacie Porta of Framed Florals, consultant Stephanie Tam, and architect Alda Ly—and secured key event partners, including ROLLN and Usual Wines. She also scripted the discussion questions and produced an immersive recap story for Brand Assembly's blog and social channels.
Innovators in Retail ︎2019
Brand Assembly's first panel of 2019 focused on innovation in retail. Rachel worked with the team on curating the panelists—Katie Hunt of SHOWFIELDS, Lauren Danziger of Industry City, and more—and secured key event partners, including Kin Euphorics and Usual Wines. She also scripted the discussion questions, consulted on the high-level social media content strategy, and created an immersive recap story for Brand Assembly's blog and social channels.
The Business of Branding ︎ 2018

She ideated the event format, scripted the discussion questions, and curated the speakers, including business advisor Gretchen Jones, Rebecca Angus-Smith of RoAndCo, Amanda Keiser of Club Monaco, and more.
